Bishop Vincent A. Charity Ministries

About Pastor
The Man, The Minister, The Pastor, The Bishop, The Friend
Dr. Vincent A. Charity was installed as Pastor of Harvey Memorial Baptist Church on March 16, 2000. Under Dr. Charity’s leadership, membership expanded which required another relocation, and in June 2005, the name of our Church was officially changed to "The Master’s Touch Praise Ministries". Dr. Charity has taken us to a new level in Christ, and we believe that through Christ, we can do all things.
We moved into our new Church building at 901 Southern Avenue, Oxon Hill, Maryland, in December 2004. We are still in the renovation phase and thank God for every step He has brought us. We praise God for the vision of Rev. Dr. Vincent Charity and for the faithful servants who pour into this ministry. By faith, much prayer, hard work, diligence and untiring effort, we can truly praise Him for our new edifice. At our new location, we have instituted new ministries and continue to seek God’s divine direction in all our endeavors as we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to carry on a successful ministry to the glory and honor of God.
Our Church has been blessed to have two of God’s most faithful and loving servants to lead us, and to Him we give all the glory. Dr. Charity was elevated to Bishop Ordinary, the second highest level of the Bishopric, on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Temple of Praise by Bishop Glen A. Staples, Presiding Prelate/Senior Pastor. Bishop Charity currently has 10 Covenant Churches with whom he serves and services as directed by God. Elevation is in the house!
“A man full of compassion and grace, that’s Bishop Vincent A. Charity. God’s vision and Bishop’s faith is exemplified in the manner that he deals with his sheep. I am proud to be one of his sheep. As God blesses him, he blesses us all.”
– Pastor Melanie Best, Youth and Young Adult Pastor
"The descriptions of Vincent A. Charity are perfect in their emanation. He is my Bishop, Pastor, leader, teacher and a friend. He is a wonderful example of Ephesians 4:2 - “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” He takes the grit out of us as we fashion to be gems through the qualities of humility, gentleness, patience, and loving us every step of the way. Thank you, Bishop!"
